PLUG POWER PARTICIPATES IN "TICKET TO RIDE" HYDROGEN AND FUEL CELLS EVENT AT ALBANY NANOTECH

LATHAM, NY – September 11, 2012 – Plug Power Inc. (NASDAQ: PLUG), a leader in providing clean, reliable energy solutions, will participate in today’s event, “Ticket to Ride: A Regional Roadmap for Hydrogen Infrastructure and Fuel Cells”. The event will host leading experts from the US Department of Energy, major automakers and leaders in the fuel cell industry in a discussion regarding the roadmap for hydrogen infrastructure and fuel cells.

The day is presented by the College of Nanoscale Science & Engineering, New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, and the Northeast Electrochemical Energy Storage Cluster.
